Suggested Training Split:
Day 1:
- Warm-ups
- Frame 1 Defense Technical Work
- Frame 1 Punch Defense Drill
- W3 Entrance
- W3 Entrance Drill
Day 2:
- Warm-ups
- W3 Entrance Review
- Osoto Gari Technique Work
- W3 to Osoto Gari Drill
Day 3:
- Climbing Escape Technial Work
- W3 to Osoto Gari Drill
- “Bad Guy Sparring”:
- Partner A: puts on boxing glove and tries to attack with big right hand punch
- Partner B: uses W3 to Osoto Gari to Defend
- Start off at 30-40% intensity
- As your confidence progresses, up the intensity. If your partner has a hard time “keeping up”, slow it down.
