In this next part of the series we are going to the Ushiro Otoshi (Behind Drop) aikijujutsu takedown when your opponent defends against the Waki Gatame submission.
The Ushiro Otoshi is essentially an American submission. But since the opponent is standing and the shoulder isn’t pinned to the mat, it becomes a takedown instead of a straight submission.
