The two Jiu Jitsu moves we’re teaching are the Tai Otoshi Judo Throw, and an arm bar from side control using an lapel arm trap.

The Tai Otoshi is one of the most powerful throws in Judo / Japanese Jujitsu. It is one of the throws that works in self defense, MMA, BJJ and No Gi Grappling.

Matt Bryers, Jiu Jitsu instructor in Connecticut, shows you now to do the Tai Otoshi, and is one of Matt’s favorite Jujitsu throws.

Diogo “Moreno” Araujo is one top BJJ Competitors and Instructors in CT and beyond. Both Matt and Moreno teach at the Cage JSA in Cromwell Connecticut. More shares how to do an arm bar from side control using or trapping your opponent’s lapel. This is a very powerful trap.

You can learn these BJJ moves and others in our Jiu Jitsu Classes 7-days a week, and at multiple times during the day. Don’t worry if you are a beginner to Jiu-Jitsu, we start of slow with BJJ Intro Lessons, and quickly develop your grappling skills from there.
